Fauxhawk

On Wednesdays and Thursdays, Harrison stays at Daddy Day Care run by his awesome dad. It is working out really well, with Matt moving his schedule around to keep those days open and just have meetings the rest of the week. Daddy Day Care closes for lunch at least once a day when Harrison visits his mom at work for a little snack and the dad takes a quick break from all baby, all the time!

My favorite part of these days if of course seeing them but I have to say that I LOVE the update picture Matt usually sends...today, Harrison is sporting the Richard-from-Top-Chef-Maddox-Jolie-Pitt-circa-2003 look that just kind of created itself one day when we accidentally touched his hair after putting on sunscreen and the excess stickiness caused the fauxhawk! He looks so grown up with an actual hairstyle!

It is SO hot in Sacramento already!

We were melting today so Harrison cooled off in the backyard...his first time in the pool!  He loved it!  He splashed and played and crawled all around..definitely a nice way to cool off and my guess is that today was the first of many afternoons spent in a pool in Sacramento!

Fun in SB

Happy guy with Grandma Barbara

Gidget is so much fun!

Reading with Grammy

Santa Barbara was so nice this weekend!  We had a great mini vacation (way too short but so much easier thanks to ExpressJet) spending time with the fam and playing at Maravilla.  Thank goodness Papa Jim was willing to deliver Bagel Cafe to the airport for us because it just can't be a trip to SB without at least one I.V. favorite!  We can't wait to be back next month!

Weekend Escape

Our little Fisher Price person aka Farkel

Once again, the pack saves the day!

Watching the sun go down

This child loves to crawl!

Harrison probably played with his new "toys" for a total of 6 or so hours!

We finally bolted Sacramento for a few days on the coast...the weather was PERFECT, allowing for plenty of hikes, walks and even time on the beach.  Pretty lucky for early spring!

Harrison discovered the wonders of kitchen utensils (hey, maybe he'll even take after his cousin Bradley and get into spray bottles for hours of fun that doesn't cost a cent) and entertained himself all weekend!  He is all over the place now, crawling in reverse and doing this hilarious hop-crawl from his knees to his hands when he needs to move forward.  I am pretty sure that Harrison thinks being mobile is about the best thing he has ever done...he is so pleased with himself and having such a great time!

Napping...a rarity!

Harrison is not really into napping but he sure looks peaceful when he finally gives in!

Harrison Federer?

Harrison is following in his dad's footsteps, hanging out at Sutter Lawn with his racquet!
